These are Tattoos of Her Favorite Things

Kelly Garrity, a student at Empire Beauty School, has three tattoos. After turning 18, Kelly would get a new tattoo every couple of months. All of her tattoos represent her favorite things, specifically her favorite types of those things.

On her arm and chest, Kelly has one continuous tattoo of three goldfish and a mermaid. Each goldfish represents one of her favorite types of goldfish: Oranda, Telescope Panda, and Pearlscale. “I got the mermaid because I like the Little Mermaid, but didn’t want to get the Little Mermaid,” Kelly said.

Kelly has her two favorite types snakes on her hip. One snake is an Eyelash Viper. The other snake is a Green Tree Python.

Her last tattoo is a ying-yang made up of two leaves. Kelly said, “I got the tattoo because I am an outdoor person and like all seasons.”
